Yappie Hour portraits of your pet
 
  This is our twist on a typical direct sales party. It requires a hostess, a suitable location, and a minimum of 7 guest families. There are no fees to host a 'Round-The-Clock party. They are a fun and convenient way for your guests to get amazing portraits of their children while enjoying themselves at the same time. Your guests and their children will be much more relaxed than if they were in a studio environment and the children are generally more expressive and comfortable in this type of atmosphere.We do not attempt to sell portraits at the party, so there will be no high pressure sales. While we will bring in some merchandise from our boutique to display, your guests are under no obligation to purchase anything and, in fact, are not required to stay past their session time. Each guest family's child is given a 15 minute time slot for their photo session. The only need to arrive approximately 10 minutes before their shoot and may leave immediately after, if they wish.WHO SHOULD I INVITE?  While you may choose to go with a theme the best method for a 'Round-The-Clock party is to simply invite EVERYONE you know who would be interested in professional treasured photographs of their children. The main objective to hosting a ‘Round-The-Clock party is to earn enough portrait credits to pay for your families pictures, so a good turnout is key. A successful party must have a minimum of 7 guest families and a maximum of 12.HOSTESS RESPONSIBILITIES:     * Print and send invitations to guests a minimum of three weeks before day of party. (We will provide hostess with ready to print custom invitations)
    * Schedule guests in consecutive 15 minute time slots. (We will provide hostess with a scheduling chart) Only one guest family’s child/children per a session. Due to the time constraint, multiple poses and outfit changes will be limited*
    * Confirm guests' attendance two days before party.
    * Set party atmosphere by arranging for snacks and drinks. Music is a nice touch to set a good 'vibe'. Hostess may also want to have an activity for the children.
    * Designate two to three rooms to be used during party (if hosting party at home). A separate/private area to set up our portable studio and an area for snacks and drinks. You will also want a comfortable place for your guests to mingle and we will need a small area to set up our display table. We will discuss exact layout during your party consultation.
    * Pick up and distribute finished portraits.We are available to stay after the party to take candid shots and group portraits. This service is billed by the half hour and is optional.
WHEN DO WE SEE OUR PICTURES?
Pictures will be available to view approximately two weeks after the party. We will send the hostess and each guest a link to their private online gallery. Guests can either order directly through the gallery or we will be happy to assist them in person/over the phone to help with the selection process. The gallery will remain open for 10 days, during which time guests should place their order. After 10 days the guest’s galleries will be closed and the party sales will be totaled. We will then personally contact the hostess with her portrait credit total and help her make her selections. Hostess should not order her prints until the guests' galleries have been closed in order to utilize all of her portrait credits.GUEST BENEFITS    * No sitting fee! ($150 value)

    * Generous commission plan to earn free portraits from Kate Messer Photography.*Hostess will earn 15% of her guests' total purchase from No Ordinary Thing Productions in the form of store credit. For example, if guests spend a combined total of $500 in merchandise, hostess will receive a store credit of $75. Guests will be given a coupon code which is used for tracking party sales. Coupons will expire the day after portrait party. We will then total the purchase amount and email hostess her store credit no later than one week after the party. Store credit is good for 6 months and can be used towards anything in our boutique.Further details and hostess portrait party commission plan is available by request.
