About The Healing Center

The Healing Center is a safe, welcoming place for anyone to find compassion, hope, guidance, and healing. The guests of the Healing Center are offered practical things like food, clothing and other physical needs. In addition to the physical need of a person, their emotional and spiritual needs are also addressed.

Each person who enters The Healing Center has the opportunity to speak to a qualified person about what is going on in their life. The Healing Center offers referrals and serves as an advocate by networking with community resources. What can I do to help?

The Healing Center is now well on it's way and almost ready to really open it's doors. Somewhere in the area of 700-900 volunteers are needed. The building (including purchase of property, build out, site development and equipping) and 3 years of operating costs is at 7.9 million dollars. The idea with a 3 year projection is that the building be fully payed for, incurring no long-term debt. This dollar amount and time line is the result of prayerful, careful consideration and planning.
Any time and/or resources contributed to The Healing Center will go a long way in bettering the people of our city. Kate Messer Photography has committed to donating a portion of proceeds from every service offered. A personal donation of any amount or regularity is accepted and can be made through either visiting The Vineyard Community Church or directly from the site of Kate Messer Photography. All donations will be delivered in it's entirty to The Healing Center and statistics will be calculated for your viewing. A receipt of contribution will be issued upon request.
